The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power's elf ensemble members Morfydd Clark and Ismael Cruz Córdova have revealed what they love the most about elven culture.
In the video officially tweeted by the Prime Video and LOTR accounts, the duo dig into the intriguing, supernatural aspects of their characters. As Clark, who plays Galadriel, explains, "What I love about elven culture is the relationship to beauty, and the beauty of nature." She added, "Obviously that was amazing because we were in New Zealand when we were filming it, and you're surrounded by beauty." As co-star Córdova adds, "My character, Arondir, is an elf. He's actually in a different world in a different realm, in the realm of humans in the Southlands." He continues, "As an elf, I love the relationship with time. You know, these beings are eternal, so these people get to see the flow of nature, the rising and falling of things, the birth and death of other beings. So I do love that there's a spiritual concept, but I also think the ears are cool."
