Paul Dano recently teased information about a follow-up to director Matt Reeves' The Batman, stating that he's more than ready to play the sadistic Riddler again.
In a San Diego Comic-Con interview with IGN, the actor expressed his excitement to "get in there" with a sequel. "If they call, me I'll show up," he said. He also touched on his connection with the Riddler, explaining that he's been working on a backstory for the character in a brand new comic book for DC called The Riddler: Year One. The actor explained that the comic came from his tendency to write backstories for his characters, and after discussing Riddler's past with Reeves, the director put him in touch with DC.
