Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge revealed that, while creating the new film in the franchise, Beavis and Butthead Do the Universe, he was inspired by none other than Marvel and DC comic book artist Jack Kirby.
Judge told Den of Geek that he looked to Kirby specifically for the way that he drew hands. When attempting to differentiate between two versions of Beavis and Butt-Head, Judge thought of the iconic artist. "Google Jack Kirby hands," he instructed his interviewer, explaining that playing around with poses inspired by Kirby helped him formulate the "smart" versions of Beavis and Butt-Head.
