Actor Jennifer Lawrence revealed that Hollywood's gender pay gap remains a big problem.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Lawrence expressed her frustration with her paycheck compared to her male co-stars. "It doesn't matter how much I do," she said. "I'm still not going to get paid as much as that guy, because of my vagina?" While Lawrence noted that all actors of similar status are overpaid, she said the wage gap was vindictive of other gender pay discrepancies in all fields. This interview comes on the heels of reports that Lawrence was paid $5 million less than Leonardo DiCaprio for Don't Look Up. She also made much less than Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale for American Hustle in 2013.
