Labor Day reports indicate that Universal's Jurassic World Dominion is closer than ever to reaching the coveted $1 billion mark at the global box office.
According to Deadline, Colin Trevorrow's latest entry in the Jurassic World series just hit an impressive $994.6 million worldwide -- but there is no telling just yet if it will reach the billion-dollar milestone, especially with sales slowing down. Whether Dominion reaches $1 billlion or not largely depends on how well the film does in Japan, which is the last market it was released in. Initially debuting two months ago, Dominion's earnings officially pushed the entire Jurassic Park franchise past the $6 billion mark.
